TRAILS OF ARVRÃO
The “Trilhas do Arvrão” Project was conceived by artist Fernando Laz, who initially intended to fulfill a promise to Our Lady of Aparecida, which was made during the path of Faith that inspired him to create the Trail. However, over time, the project began to have as its objective the interaction between man and the environment , through the practice of physical activities, aiming to explore and enjoy all the structure and biodiversity existing in Lençóis Paulista and the region.
The name, Trilhas do Arvrão , comes from a large tree, where "O Arvrão" is a Jatobá tree that stands alone high up in the middle of a large hill, from which new paths and routes have emerged. The place represents the sensation of a viewpoint, being a perfect spot for taking photos and contemplating nature, in addition to having great tourist potential.

The Arvrão, 2023

With the aim of facilitating the journey along the routes and avoiding errors that can cause hours of delay and additional fatigue, the paths are self-guided through informative signs and totems in simple language - made by the visual artist himself.
These signs are made sustainably and by hand, and there are also markings on fences and stones scattered along the paths. It's important to know that the most commonly used colors are always blue and yellow, where yellow means going in the opposite direction and blue means returning.
Another objective in designing the routes is always to avoid the path passing through busy urban roads or along the edges of highways, due to the well-known traffic risks. This is especially important considering that the project aims to promote and encourage cycling, cycle touring, hiking, sightseeing, and other activities while in contact with nature.

The creator of the project had the direct collaboration of friends Alexandre Toniolo and Andresa Dutra ( @casalforadoquintal ), together with Thiago Teles Ramalho from Agrícola Ouro Verde.
The project also has the support of several partners, such as @apedaleira , @lutepel , Líder Imobiliária, Cruzeiro Gás e Água Mineral, Viagem & Cia, Renova Materiais Para Construção and PHD Cana (the company responsible for providing the physical space for the trail). In addition to the companies @alagrotecnologia and @conectalp , which have been there since the beginning and continue to believe in the project to this day.
Naturally, several agricultural companies are gradually adopting the idea, such as JO Serviços Agrícolas, which is providing space for the trail to reach Pratânia. After all, the main idea of the project is to create connections and a collaborative information network.
