Intersection of 15 de Novembro and 28 de Abril Streets - Downtown

For a long time, swimming enthusiasts, at a time when there were no swimming pools in the city due to the lack of a club, frequented this area, through which the Lençóis River flows. Many residents of Lençóis swam in the waters of the Lençóis River, and went down the currents through the many curves of the river, which was indeed an adventure. In the course of these waters there was a special place, with calm, almost still waters, resulting in the name that gives the place its name: Paradão (Big Stop). The park area consists of a large green leisure area, with benches, trees, a walking track, a soccer field, stretching bars and a playground. There is also a tourist sign installed there that has become an attraction for taking photos in the city.
